o wondrous heavenly bread
~cesar franck~
o wondrous heavenly bread, whereby mankind is fed
o food of love divine, long promised by a sign,
o deepest mystery! one with our Lord to be.
humble, lowly, to all is offered free.
this food to be our aid: so was the promise made.
on that same night wherein the Savior was betrayed.
"this is my body true, this blood shed for you.
all who eat and drink shall have life anew."

thank you very much for your translation. We prepared Panis Angelicus as our school song for Speech Day 40 something years ago, but when the school governors et al discovered it was about the transsubstantiation that takes place at the consecration of the bread and wine that turns the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ, the song was discarded and we quickly had to learn a new song about something filly and superficial, something that would not offend. So I've loved Panis Angelicus ever since and find it to be a powerful weapon in the spiritual battle.
