Psalm 117

"Praise the Lord, all you nationsl

give praise, all you peoples.

For the loving-kindness of the Lord toward us is great,

and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

Hallelujah!"

Today the sun is out - with snow expected this weekend. The beauty of our Creation is displayed everywhere in the bright sunshine of this day. So much to be thankful for.

Beginning the Search

This is the Day the the Lord has made . . .

and I will begin in rejoicing . . .

Sabbath is a sanctuary of rest and rejuvenatingthat God alone has given us.

Rest and rejuvenation that is ordained by our loving God who created us.

God 's gift is one of replenishment

so we may go forth to do the work God created for us to do.

Giving glory to God and enjoying God forever

is just one task,

one assignment

that is ours to carry out

What an honor ~

what a blessing

to do so!

May we all begin to explore together this gift of rest and rejuvenation.

This gift that is known as Sabbath for those who believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah.
